Professor Cristina Nevado | Christina Nevado has been appointed Full Professor Prof. Dr. Christina Nevado Blázques, geb. 1977, wurde zur ordentlichen Professorin für Organische Chemie auf den 1. Februar 2013 ernannt. Prof. Nevado Blázquez erlangte 2000 an der Universidad Autónoma de Madrid den Titel Master of Science in Chemistry. Nach einem Studienaufenthalt an der Tokyo University wurde sie 2004 promoviert. Anschliessend war Prof. Nevado Blázquez als „Post-Doctoral Associate“ am Max-Planck-Institut für Kohleforschung in Mühlheim an der Ruhr tätig. Seit 2007 ist sie Assistenzprofessorin mit „tenure track“ für Organische Chemie an der UZH. more information |
 Professor Nathan Luedtke | Nathan Luedtke has been appointed Associated Professor Prof. Dr. Nathan W. Luedtke, geb. 1973, wurde zum ausserordentlichen Professor für Chemische Biologie auf den 1. Oktober 2012 ernannt. Prof. Luedtke studierte am Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry der University of California und schloss sein Studium 1999 mit dem Master of Science ab. 2003 erlangte er den PhD. Anschliessend arbeitete Prof. Luedtke als «NIH Postdoctoral Fellow» am Schepartz Laboratory of Chemical Biology der Yale University, USA. Seit 2006 ist er am Organisch-chemischen Institut der UZH Assistenzprofessor mit «tenure track». more information |

The Editorial Board commended Professor Nevados contribution to the total synthesis of natural products and new synthetic methodologies, in particular her research on gold catalysis. |
